Course Fees: 2000 Euros* per person for the 4 days.
Fees includes 4-day training, training materials, coffee breaks and lunches.

Due to the increase of renewable energy and DC link, power electronic converters play a more and more important role in the AC network.
This course is dedicated to engineers who already knows the funding of power electronics and who wants to improve their knowledge about the different converters (eg: Modular Multilevel Converter), HVDC links, renewable converters. All this will be modeled with EMTP-RV which provide numerous and accurate tools to study the connection and the interaction of these devices on the AC grid.
The course is based on the usage of EMTP-RV for demonstrating concepts and teaching through practical problem cases.
The duration of the course is 4 days.
The course starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. every day except the last day (at 4:00 pm).
The course is presented in English.
Each participant will have access to computer. EMTP-RV temporary licenses will be provided for the duration of the course.
They could be users of the software but also people who would like to discover how useful simulation can be for them.

Lille is a major city, very well located in central west Europe, with 1.1 million people for the city itself within a 4 million people area, with all modern infrastructures for communication, transport, accommodation, etc.
Lille is very easy to reach (1h) directly by train from Charles-de-Gaulle Airport in Paris (departure of the TGV train from the Airport), as well as from London (1h30) and from Brussels (30mn), where stands the European Commission.
The railway station in Lille is downtown, with easy connections by metro to the University and conference centers.

General conditions for EMTP-RV courses
Please register as early as possible if you plan to attend the EMTP-RV course. As soon as the minimum of participants is reached, POWERSYS will confirm the course.
The registration to the course includes the lunches and coffee breaks.
Participants will have to pay 50% in advance before the course. The outstanding balance will be due 30 days after the end of the course. Payment will be made by bank transfer.

In case you cannot attend the course after having registred, please contact us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org
In case of cancellation three weeks OR MORE before the beginning of the course, the participants will not be charged.
In case of cancellation less than three weeks before the beginning of the course, POWERSYS will charge the participant 50% of the course fees.
Please note that POWERSYS will not reimburse any travel and/or accommodation expenditure in case of cancellation of the course. We recommend you to make your travel arrangements once the course is confirmed.
