Uwe Schmidt

Uwe Schmidt graduated at the University of Ilmenau and hold a PhD from the University of Chemnitz. He worked successively for VEAG (Vereinigte Energiewerke AG), Kema – IEV GmbH, the Technical University of Chemnitz and the Technical University of Dresden.

He is now Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Zittau / Goerlitz.

His main fields of research include power systems and insulation co-ordination.

Dr Francesco Crusca, graduated with a BE (Hon's) (Elec) in 1985, followed by an MEngSc (Elec) in 1987 and a PhD in 1991, all from the University of Melbourne.

Dr. Davor Vujatovic CEng FIET

Dr. Davor Vujatovic is a Chartered Electrical Engineer with an extensive knowledge of the design of EHV/HV power transmission and distribution systems including the equipment required to support major power and rail infrastructure projects in the UK and overseas.
Principal professional interests are system transients, power quality, flexible AC transmission systems and system dynamics.

Alain Xémard graduated from the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Lyon, France, with an engineering degree in electrical engineering in 1985.

He received a doctor from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon and he got the habilitation to supervise research (HDR) in 2011 from the University Blaise Pascal of Clermont Ferrand (France). 

Ivo UGLESIC

Ivo Uglesic is a full professor since 2007. at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing of Zagreb University, Croatia.

His research interests include high voltage engineering, insulation coordination, electromagnetic transients, electromagnetic compatibility and electric railways.

He the author of over than 120 scientific papers in journals and at international and national conferences, and was the project leader of more than 50 studies and technical solutions made for the needs of power utilities, electric railways and industry.
